I took a visit to Black Bear Diner today with my father. Our food took a while to come out, but no complaints as it was a busy day. The food was good and up to our expectations, and our server Chantelle went above and beyond. She offered soup and salad due to our long wait time, and checked up on us frequently. Had a wonderful meal with you guys today at Black Bear and will be back.
A bit of a wait, but worth it. They actually scratched off our name from the waiting list. We had been waiting for 40 minutes, sitting right there! After I called out the kid, we were seated right away. They need to improve that. But amazing food, with big portions. Just be ready for the wait, if you're going for a weekend breakfast .
Really one of the best food I've eaten lately. The place looks amazing and the staff is fast and very friendly and helpful. The cooks make delicious meals. Erica served me amazingly I chose and enjoyed my California eggs benedict Came back today Feb 18 and ordered meatloaf and the server Adriana was super helpful
Today’s visit turned an average Thursday morning into an amazing breakfast experience! Marylou was a fantastic waitress and ensured our orders were perfect and the coffee superb. If you haven’t stopped in yet, what the heck are you waiting for? Do yourself a favor and enjoy a delicious and hearty meal today!!
Although its in a truck stop and station. This place is a must visit. I've only had the breakfast and they definitely give big portions. Service price and quality is great. Love the menu being on a newspaper. Will be back and make it my once or twice a month thing for me and the family.
Sadie was amazing! There was a customer giving her a real hard time and she remained calm and handled it like a professional even after he continued to be disrespectful towards her. Sadie was super friendly to us even after dealing with the rude customer and kept a smile on her face while dealing with us. The service was outstanding here and the food was awesome as well! And our server , Aaliyah was also the best, super friendly and very customer service oriented . I highly recommend eating here!!!
3/12/2025 the food was good we drive a long way just to eat here. The food was excellent. The service was more than expected she got our order right no mistakes i think her name was brenda. Thanks for making our dinner excellent.
Despite it being busy on Sunday and taking 10 minutes to be seated, my food was brought out very quickly. It was hot, fresh, and delicious.
